Hi, I’m Tracy 👋 — founder of The Dough Bunny Bakery.
This is me as a kid, right around the time I fell in love with baking.
There’s something special about using your hands and your imagination to create something that brings joy to another. So often I’ve chosen the prettiest cupcake or the cutest cookie in the bakery case, only to be disappointed by its texture and taste. And I wondered why they didn’t taste like the things I create in my own kitchen?
I realized I was craving the homemade goodness of my family’s recipes — and that I wouldn’t find it anywhere else except in my own kitchen.
And just like that, The Dough Bunny Bakery was born!

Award-Winning Bakes from the Sandwich Fair!
We’re so excited to share that our treats took home several ribbons at this year’s Sandwich Fair — the second largest fair in Illinois, right behind the State Fair in Champaign!
Our fudge and Plain Janes earned 3rd place, our Jam Thumbprints brought home 2nd, and our cookie decorations swept both categories — 2nd place for holiday and 1st place for non-holiday designs!
Each treat is made with the same care, creativity, and homemade touch that we bring to every batch. These awards are a sweet reminder that the simplest ingredients — and a lot of love — make something truly special.
